
ReCatalyst, a deep tech company developing next-generation platinum-based nanocatalysts for hydrogen technologies, has announced the establishment of its Advisory Board. The newly appointed members are internationally recognized experts in R&D leadership, hydrogen innovation, strategic business development, and sustainability-focused investments. Their combined experience will support ReCatalyst in scaling operations and expanding its presence in international markets beyond Europe.
This Advisory Board represents an important milestone in ReCatalyst’s journey. It reflects the company’s ambition to become a globally relevant player in the hydrogen economy. Their guidance will help unlock the strategic value of ReCatalyst’s breakthrough technology and strengthen the company’s capacity for global partnerships and market adoption.
ReCatalyst is a spin-out from the National Institute of Chemistry in Ljubljana, Slovenia, developing a proprietary nanotechnology platform for manufacturing high-performance electrocatalysts used in fuel cells and water electrolysers. The company’s innovations significantly improve the efficiency of platinum group metal usage, enabling more sustainable and scalable solutions for green hydrogen production and conversion.
Since its founding in 2021, ReCatalyst has been recognized with awards such as the Slovenian Start-up of the Year 2023, followed by a successful oversubscribed seed round co-led by HTGF, OCCIDENT and xista science ventures.
